Penida Villa Persona began with a simple mission: to provide Purple Dive Penida guests and the wider traveler community with an accommodation style that truly reflects the island's values.
The project was dreamed up by a group of friends and passionate divers who fell in love with Nusa Penida’s rugged beauty and stayed to build a community.
Deeply involved in the local neighborhood, the team is dedicated to offering a laid-back, authentic experience for anyone looking to discover the magic of the island. It’s a place built by travelers, for travelers, rooted in a love for the ocean and the people who call Penida home.

Hailing from our next door village of Sental Kangin, Ibu Mini is the heart of daily operations as the Manager and Head of Housekeeping. Beyond her 15 years in hospitality, she is a respected pillar of her own community, dedicated to supporting her local village organization with her sharp accounting and organizational skills. At the villas, her sunny and reliable personality makes her the ultimate go-to for guests. With an encyclopedic knowledge of Nusa Penida and a connection to almost everyone on the island, she is the perfect person to assist with any request—from arranging transport and island exploration to booking a relaxing massage or recommending the best local restaurants.

Ketut
Affectionately known as 'Tut,' Pak Ketut comes from the hillside village of Batu Madeg, near the Tembeling pools and forest—an area he knows like the back of his hand. Tut holds a special place in the family as the very first employee of our sister business Purple Dive Penida. After five years as a boat hand and snorkeling guide, he discovered a passion for the island’s flora. Today, he channels that green thumb into meticulously caring for the gardens at both the dive center and the villas.

Originally from Java, Pak Rahmat is the architectural soul of the property. Having been part of the original team that built the villas from the ground up, his engineering mind and intuitive problem-solving skills made him an indispensable part of the family. Now a permanent member of the team, he remains on-site through the night to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, standing by as the point of contact for any maintenance or emergency needs. To say he knows his way around the villas is an understatement—he quite literally built them.

How can I book at Penida Villa Pesona?
Is there a private pool in each villa?
Absolutely, each of our fabulous villas features a private pool. For villas Azure and Solis you will get an infinity pool with ocean view, for villas Drift and Cove you will have a plunge pool in your private garden, surrounded by nature!
How many people can each villa accommodate?
Villas Drift and Cove: one-bedroom villas with 2 single beds (can be set as a double) on the mezzanine upstairs. Sleeps 4 people. The mezzanine has light canceling curtains, aircon and a great ocean view. Perfect for couples, but can also accommodate families or group of friends with two completely separate living and sleeping floors.
Villas Azure and Solis: ideal for families or groups of 4, each of the two bedrooms is on a different floor with a queen size bed. Top bedroom has a private terrace, the other bedroom opens onto the deck and pool area. Each has an en-suite bathroom.
What is the price per night?
Rates vary depending on the villa and the time of year; we also sometimes run special deals, so feel free to contact us! Rates start at 3,000,000 IDR per night and can go up to 4,500,000 IDR per night.
What is included in the rate?
Your rate includes high-speed internet, daily housekeeping, luxury linens and towels, and access to all amenities already stocked (water, coffee and tea, toiletries, etc). Our manager Mini is also here to assist you with any request and can help you book tours, massages, and more!
How do I get from Bali to Nusa Penida?
The most popular way to transfer to Nusa Penida is via Sanur Harbour. The boat trip takes around 45 minutes. Boats also depart from Kusamba and Padang Bay. We can help you arrange boat tickets and harbour transfer upon request.
Are children welcome at the villas?
Yes, families are very welcome! However, please note that our villas are not child proofed and have private pools, so active supervision of children is required to ensure saftey.
Can we go diving directly from the villas?
While the villas offer spectacular views, the island's best sites are accessed by boat. Our sister business Purple Dive Penida is just below the villas and their team will gladly arrange some diving or snorkeling for you. In high season (June to October), it is best to book in advance as the diving spaces are limited. Please let us know when you book and we can put you in contact with the reservation team. All our villa guests get a special rate!
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes, plenty! You will also find shops, small bars and spas close to the villas. Within a 500m radius you will be able to find a large choice of different options, such as indonesian food, tapas, western options, seafood, etc. There is also a bakery, Secret Baked, about 700m away.
Can we rent a scooter at the villas?
Absolutely! We can arrange scooter rentals delivered directly to your villa. Please make sure you are comfortable riding, as the island roads are not all in great conditions and can be quite steep!
Can I get food or alcohol delivered at the villa?
Yes ! We have a guest guide booklet with plenty of numbers of restaurants that will deliver, ranging from pizza to sushi to Vietnamese and, of course, Indonesian. There is also an alcohol delivery person.
